Overcoming Evil With Good "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" ( Revelation 13:8). The majority of the earth has worshipped and is worshipping the beast. The only ones who have not worshipped the beast are those whose names are written in the book of life, only those who haven’t followed after the beastly system because they realise what it is. They have discernment to see it’s the devil. "If any man have an ear, let him hear" ( Revelation 13:9).
Whenever this phrase appears in Scripture it means we’re going to have to listen with spiritual ears. What’s being taught is not something literal, so we won’t understand it unless our spiritual ears are open.
