4:6-11 What do the four beasts here (KJV) represent?

Beasts here (KJV), should have been translated "living creatures", as in most modern bibles.

Scripture is silent as to what these living creatures actually represent, but it is clear that they have been created specifically to worship and glorify God (cp Re 8; Re 5:8-10, 14; 19:4).

The living creatures are undoubtedly the Seraphim and Cherubim described in Isa 6 and Eze 1 and 10 in the Old Testament (cp Isa 6:1-3; Eze 1:5, 10; 10:14-15, 19-22). The point of Rev 4 is summed up in V11 (cp V11).
