It is a most deceptive Church: Under the name of "Christianity", and using the Bible, it actually teaches and practices "Hindu doctrine"... and "no Unity", even the two spouses split in two groups!.

Founded, in 1889 by the spouses Charles and Myrtle Fillmore in Kansas City , Missouri . They print millions of pieces of literature, like the periodical "Wee Wisdom", appealing to Sunday school children, and the devotional "Daily Word", using the name of Christianity and the Bible, to teach Hindu Doctrines... while people thing they are reading good Christian literature!.

"God", is not the Christian God, but a Hindu one: An invisible impersonal power, a "Principle", a "Law", a "Being", a "Mind", a "Spirit"... a pantheistic god in everything. No Trinity.

"Jesus", was a man and not the Christ. Instead, he was a man who had "Christ Consciousness". Christ is a state of perfection in every person. Jesus had lived many times before and was in search of his own salvation. He was called the "Son of David", indicating that he had been previously incarnated in David, say the Unity... and continues... Jesus did not die as a sacrifice for anyone's sins, he did not rise physically, and he will never return to earth in physical form.

The "Holy Spirit", is not a person, but the law of God in action, the "law of nature", the "executive power of both Father and Son".

"Salvation", comes by recognizing that each person is as much a Son of God as Jesus is. There is no evil, no devil, no sin, no poverty, and no old age. A person is reincarnated until he learns these truths and becomes "perfect"... "positive thinking" is the key of everything...

"After-death": Death is a result of wrong thinking. One "reincarnates" until enlightenment comes. No Heaven or Hell... be "positive"!.
===='''Doctrine:'''====
The Fillmores believed they could improve on Mary Baker Eddy's Christian Science healing mission, with "positive thinking". They conceived the idea that God dwells within each person and that heaven and hell exist here and now on earth. God is love, and God has the secret formula for good health. If one follows the laws of God or nature, one can have good health. Among these "Laws of God" are not the Commandments... only the laws of nature!.. The miracles of Jesus were real, for Jesus was following the laws of nature... a most pantheistic vision!.
[[Category:Cults]]
